Cultural Exchange
Two holidays, two countries, one thing in common: children who love to dress up. Costumes donated after Halloween in the United States become Carnival joy in the Dominican Republic.
What we do
A costume's second life begins here.
Every year, families in the United States retire gently-used Halloween costumes their children have outgrown. We collect them through schools, organizations, and businesses, then carry them to communities in the Dominican Republic in time for Carnival season.
What arrives is more than fabric — each costume is an invitation to imagine, to play, and to feel connected to a child in another country who loved it first.
By the numbers
A simple idea with a growing reach.
